Pakistan Anchor Threatens Prime Minister Modi
In case you haven’t seen this video that’s been doing the rounds on social media platforms these past two days, then correct the oversight immediately. This video is of a TV news anchor, identified to be a Pakistani news channel, who is theatrically threatening Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mend his ways, saying that Pakistanis otherwise know how to make him ‘understand’. Sitting inside what seems to be a TV news show set, the anchor – whose name and other details have not been provided – emphatically warns Modi against taking any steps against Pakistan.
The video comes a few months after India carried out surgical strike along the Line of Control on seven terror launch pads, a move for which the PM was lauded across the country.
‘Modi sahab, apko lakh baar samjhaya hai, lekin kab samajh main aaya hai… har baar aate ho, buri niyat laate ho, har baar peeth dikhaate ho, dum dabakar bhaagte ho, har baar maar khate ho or pehle se buri tarah khaate ho (Mr Modi, you have been told a lakh times, but you haven’t understood…. Everytime you head this way with your wrong intentions, you end up running in the opposite direction, and it’s a worse defeat than the last)”, she can be heard saying in the video. She also says that Indian soldiers, helicopters and drones somehow manage to reach Pakistan ‘by mistake’, but if the neighbouring country decides to do the same then nobody will be able to save India.
indianexpress.com hasn’t independently been able to verify where the video is from, or the credibility of the news show, but it surely makes for a dramatic watch.
