Dear Sonia, Mulayam, Mamata, Mayawati, Kejriwal, and all others who are opposing Modi on demonetization,

Shame on you!

Your parties collectively called for a nationwide Bharat Bandh on November 28 to escalate your protest over the demonetization drive. The suddenly united opposition will observe November 28 as ‘Aakrosh Divas’!

One thing is quite clear from this move of your, all of you are “divided by election, but united by corruption”!

Obviously, we all understand why you feel there is a necessity for you all to hold this protest. The Prime Minister’s move has clearly ruined all the “reserves” you had for several upcoming state elections. Alas, how will Congress and AAP pay voters in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh now! Forget the elections, we all have now realized how hard you people are unitedly working to save your whole life’s earnings.

But, please! Do not say the poor people are the ones who want demonetization to go away! It is you, who wants it to go away. The poor are busy working hard, standing in queues and ensuring their hard earned money is exchanged in legal tender.

And why, why the hell should this move be revoked?

Demonetization is fighting corruption, demonetization is ruining terror funding. What more reason should exist for demonetization to be justified? What’s wrong with you? The public is with Modi. Admit it, you are protesting for yourself, to save yourself, not for anyone. A survey on the Narendra Modi app showed how 97% of the Indian public support the Prime Minister’s move. This is just a slap on your face.

You are simply hypocrites, nothing less, nothing more. This is why I say so. In fact not just you, all those opposing demonetization are shameless hypocrites. There is a reason why I say this. Did or did not the Government give a fair chance to each and everyone to clear all the mess they had created over the years? Who is to blame, the Government or yourself?

This is the chronology of events what happened..

Government: Please make your Aadhar card.
Indian public: Okay, let’s see..

Government: We’re giving you 6 more months, please do it
Indian public: Okay, let’s see..

Government: Please do it now at least, we are giving you 12 more months to do it!

Indian public: Okay, let’s see..

Government: We are giving you 6 more months, please do it..
Indian public: Okay, let’s see..

Government: We are giving 12 more months, please
Indian public: Okay, let’s see..

Government: ₹500 and 1000 notes are just pieces of paper from tomorrow..exchange your notes in 50 days.
Indian Public: What the hell is this? All of a sudden? Is this democracy or dictatorship? Give us some time, where is the courtesy of government?
Government: Okay, let’s see..

Now when the Government says “Let’s see”and some people suddenly have a problem!

Each of us are facing some inconvenience or the other through this move. I admit this. But this does not mean that the move itself is wrong. Just because a medicine is bitter, it does not mean the medicine is useless!

Dear friends, please express your support for this move. Make sure Congress, AAP, SP, BSP, TMC, and all those parties who are opposing this move understand that we are with the Prime Minister on this move and are very much willing to undergo a little pain for maximum gain!

Jai Hind!

Yours sincerely,

Sanjay S.R.
